J Stuart Corsa, Owner and principal has been around the home business all his life.  Having worked his way through college as a Plumber and earning a degree in engineering he became involved in the construction of numerous projects all over the country.  Returning to southern Illinois he began a construction company specializing in custom remodeling of Victorian and older historic homes as well as restaurant and bar design/remodel.

Mr Corsa moved to northern Illinois over 14 years ago and worked as a construction superintendent as well as an LO for various mortgage firms where he learned the business inside and out.  In 2000 he decided to get his Appraiser's license and Corsa Appraisal Service was born.  This varied background allows him the insight to properly prepare an appraisal that not only conforms to all applicable laws and regulations, but also gives the Lenders and Underwriters the tools they require to properly evaluate a property.
